GBvi to Demonstrate World-Leading Vis-NVG Optical Blend Solution at I/ITSEC 2025
GBvi is exhibiting at I/ITSEC 2025, taking place 1 – 4 December in Orlando. Visitors can find GBvi on stand 662, where the team will present a powerful lineup of hardware that optimises day-through-night-vision training visual realism from high-performance off-the-shelf projectors.
What’s on Show
GBvi will showcase its flagship solution to multi-projector black-level overlap, demonstrating how precision optical blending dramatically enhances night-vision and low-light simulation performance while maintaining full daytime blend quality comparable to the best digital blending systems.
GBvi’s Chronos optical blending enables widely-available COTS projectors to be deployed in multi-channel projection displays for a wide range of visual simulation environments, maintaining their full dynamic range by precluding the need for black level compensation.
On the booth, three Norxe P55 4K native projectors will be optically blended using custom Chronos blend plates, demonstrating seamless imagery for all scene content – including that for stimulating NVGs with near-infrared images – without the need to switch blend masks in and out light paths.
At I/ITSEC, visitors will see:
Atlas Projector Mounts: Precision Meets Flexibility
Atlas-4
- 4 Degrees of Freedom (fore-aft, yaw, pitch, roll)
- All angular adjustments pivot around the projector pupil
- Minimises unwanted pupil translation
- Ideal for high-accuracy visual systems
- Available in a motion-compatible version
Atlas-5
- 5 Degrees of Freedom (fore-aft, up-down, yaw, pitch, roll)
- 3-point kinematic adjustment
- Lead-screw fine-adjustment for extremely precise alignment
- One mount can support multiple projector makes and models
- Designed for maximum versatility and field configurability
Rewind Actuator II: Streamlined, Ergonomic, Reliable
GBvi’s controllers allow users to store multiple actuator carriage positions for precise placement of optical blend plates. Designed to support retraction for maintenance and display calibration, on the show floor we will be retracting blend plates to show the difference that Chronos optical blending makes to night and NVG scenes.
Control Box II Key Features:
- External keypad for easy access – even in hard-to-reach channels
- Compact, space-saving design ideal for restricted environments
- New simplified end detection – no limit switches, improving reliability and efficiency
- Available to order in Q1, 2026
Immersive NVG Demonstration On-Stand
This year, GBvi is offering bookable night-vision demonstration sessions at the booth, allowing visitors to experience first-hand how optical blending elevates realism and accuracy.
