The team at GBvi would like to update our customers and supply chain colleagues on how we are assessing and dealing with the health risks and business impact of the Coronavirus outbreak, COVID-19.

The health and safety of our team, business colleagues, customers, suppliers and families are our top priorities and at the heart of every decision we make. We believe it’s critical to do our part to help reduce the transmission of the virus. We have listed below some of the steps we are taking to protect everyone in this ever-evolving situation:

  • We are diligently following guidance and best practices from the NHS, Public Health England and others
  • As of Monday 16th March, although we have no known incidences of the virus, the GBvi team will each be working from home
  • To keep our operations running as normal as possible we are using a calendar system to book time on the business premises to build and ship orders, minimising personal contact.
  • We have suspended travel
  • We are conducting internal and third-party meetings via telephone or online communication tools to stay connected and keep up-to-date with information

We are in close communication with our supply chain and whilst there may be unavoidable delays and disruption, we aim to keep as close to our project deadlines as we are able to.

While the environment around us is uncertain and changeable, we will be adjusting our actions as necessary while maintaining a positive and cooperative mindset!
